How to get rid of snoring

Sometimes in your bedtime you don’t notice that you are already snoring. Not only at night but also during daytime. It sometimes occurs every time you sleep. The big deal in snoring is that your family members especially your partner will be awake because of the noise that produced during you snore. Both men and women can snore which you can’t control but what is snoring? Snoring is a sound that comes out which is cause by the vibration of the respiratory system in the body.

To prevent snoring, you need first to know the causes. One reason is due to nasal or sinus problems, excessive drinking, smoking and the intake of drugs. Incorrect posture during sleep causes also snoring. If you don’t prevent it earlier, then it can lead to a multiple problems like fatigue, sleep disorders and also health problems.

If snoring takes place every time you sleep, then you don’t need to worry because there’s a lot of solution for that problem of yours. There are many methods to be done to get rid of snoring, a method that is cheap but effective:

1) Sleep on your side. There is a higher chance of snoring if you sleep on your back, and sleeping on your stomach will kill your neck. Due to gravity, your tongue can fall back and this narrows the space behind the tongue.

2) Have enough sleep. Make sure you will get sufficient sleep and you’re not tired because many people snore when they are tired.

3) Avoid drinking alcohol. Alcohol will make your throat muscles more relaxed and more suitable to collapse and obstruct. The obstruction around your airway as you sleep will lead you to snore.

4) Lose weight. When you're heavier than your extra weight it will not only cause you to expand on the outside, but also narrow in on the inside of your upper airways.

5) Don't eat before bedtime. If you snore, you will stop breathing once in a while. When you stop breathing, you'll create a space in your throat which suctions up your normal stomach juices into your throat.

6) Clear up your nose. Your nose is the part where air comes in and out so you must clean it to prevent worsens the partial collapse of the soft palate and the tongue. After doing all this methods the person around you can now sleep well.
